I honestly don't think adding Hayward will be that much of a help for the Celtics. What the Celtics need most right now is players who can rebound, shoot and assist. Hayward can only provide the shooting part. He can't rebound nor protect the rim, and he basically isn't that good in assisting. His 3.5 assists per game does not look that bad, but some of those were alley oop pass to Rudy Gobert dunks. Even his good shooting might not be consistent as those have only improved this season (his 3's were not good in the previous 3 seasons) and might not last. His playoff performance against the GSW was also subpar. He only shot 40% in that series. ... |
